Spreading the Love

“It takes strength to be gentle and kind”–The Smiths

***

This week is Kindness Week on Ellen, which means she’s been surprising people/families who are financially struggling and yet still helping others who are also in need. First of all, I love it when “real” people on TV are bestowed with money or gifts. And second, I love it even more when people are good to others. So, as one might imagine, I am really fond of Kindness Week, and I’ve been inspired to do something about it.

So next week, Just Married is going to have a Kindness Week of its own. Each day, I will perform (at least) one simple act of kindness, and then, I’ll blog about it later in the day. I’ve recruited Nicole from JUST LIVE IT! to join me in the challenge on her blog, and we’re both hoping that we can encourage others to do the same. We aren’t in it to get a thank you, of course. We just want to encourage and spread more kindness out there in the world.

If you’d like to join us for the week or even for just a day–and better yet, write about it on your own blog–please do! Don’t forget to leave us comments, letting us know all about it.

Wish us luck!
