“There was never any more inception than there is now,
Nor any more youth or age than there is now,
And will never be any more perfection than there is now,
Nor any more heaven or hell than there is now.”

–Walt Whitman, “Song of Myself”

My name is Gina, and I am an English teacher, writer, improviser and TV/movie addict. And when I’m not engaged in these activities, I’m a sometimes blogger.

Though I love to write about my day-to-day, I am especially interested in challenging myself to push beyond all my doubts, worries, and fears and to really just live the crap out of my life.

In the second section of the above poem, Whitman notes, “You shall possess the good of the earth and sun, (there are millions of suns left,)” meaning, there is still so much time for us to embrace all the things we imagined we might.

This blog is a way for me to document my experiences, thoughts, and (mis)adventures as I learn to embrace my millions of suns.

Please stop by often and leave comments or send emails. I love to receive both.
